Water Main Leak Detection

Water Main Leak Detection Begins November 8, 2017

As a part of CPW’s Water and Sewer Division’s preventive maintenance program and Water Management Act Permit, water main leak detection will be performed over the next few weeks.  Each year Concord surveys approximately half of the water mains in town. This year of New England Water Distribution Services, LLC, of Windham, New Hampshire, will be preforming Leak Detection services on the northern half of the water distribution system starting November 8, 2017.

Leak detection should not cause any water quality upsets and you can continue to use your water as usual. Leak detection has the ability to pinpoint very small water leaks that could otherwise go unnoticed for long periods of time.

New England Water Distribution Services will be driving a white Toyota Tundra pick-up truck with New Hampshire plates clearly labeled with company’s name.  He will be using equipment similar to that pictured below.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact CPW’s Water Division at 978-318-3250.
